I have seen a few friends do this, but they list 100 things about them. That sounds too hard to me, and seeing that I am not an over-achiever, I changed it to 50 things about me instead.
1) I love it that Dave is in law school. It makes him very content & satisfied.
2) I took German in HS. (To this day I kick myself for not taking Spanish.)
3) I have learned quite a bit of Spanish from living really close to Lorraine.
4) I am SO not a perfectionist. It drives Dave crazy most of the time.
5) I'm a little obsessed about keeping my kitchen clean, on the other hand. It's a sanitary issue for me.
6) I rarely go to bed without reading first.
7) I hate all the time I waste on the Internet.
8) I can't stand the taste of licorice. Or seafood.
9) I like tuna fish.
10) Food motivates me to do a lot of things, sadly enough.
11) I could eat the alfredo sauce from Olive Garden with a spoon & call it a meal. (Not that I ever have...it's just that I COULD.)
12) I flavor almost everything with Lawry's seasoning salt. To the point where it makes Dave gag sometimes.
13) I watch Friends episodes whenever I am bored. (Yes, I have all ten seasons.) And laugh like I've never seen them before.
14) I have come to enjoy teaching Relief Society. I never thought I would be able to say that.
15) I laugh when people get hurt unexpectedly. It's a bad habit.
16) Funniest Home Videos cracks me up. I laugh really hard.
17) I love watching animal planet.
18) If I was thinking back in under grad school, I probably would have majored in Zoology.
19) I am HORRIBLE at math and science. (The reason why I never did the one above.)
20) I majored in English. (Kind of. Except it's called University Studies.) :)
21) I miss my snowboarding days.
22) I miss living in Idaho.
23) One time on the way up to Grand Targee, I spun my jeep out on a clear sunny day. There was a patch of snow in the road I hit going sixty. I almost killed myself and three other people. (One of them was two weeks away from going on his mission.)
24) I've never hit anyone with my car, and never had another car hit me. (I have been in accidents, I've just never been the driver.)
25) I survived four years at BYU-I with a jeep with two wheel (REAR wheel) drive.
26) I want a subscription to National Geographic for Christmas.
27) Each day that passes makes me more and more grateful I married Dave.
28) Dave does the finances in our family.
29) I have a horrible habit of spending money we don't have.
30) I feel like something is missing in my life if I'm not in the process of reading a book.
31) I am so thankful for the great network of wives here. I don't know what I would do without them.
32) I really don't like living in big cities. (Which is ironic, because that is probably be where we will end up.)
33) My dream house has a screened in porch and a creek running behind it. Ever seen Man on the Moon?
34) I asked my parents for a horse every birthday and Christmas until I was 17.
35) I ask my husband for a horse about once a year. (Am I a typical girl or what?)
36) My favorite movie is Meet Joe Black. And Legends of the Fall.
37) I have to sleep with a fan on in our room.
38) I think adding cheese/sour cream/bacon to anything makes it taste a lot better.
39) I have become a better cook now that I've been married for a few years.
40) I used to work at a vet clinic.
41) I want to work in the animal field again someday.
42) I love watching skateboarding/bmxing/surfing/snowboarding. I think it's invigorating for some reason.
43) I can memorize most of the lyrics to a song after hearing it only two or three times.
44) When B takes a nap, I read most of the time.
45)I hate the movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. The oompa loompas freak me out. Seriously.
46) I love veggie & cheese subs from Subway. I always eat them with cheetos, and stick them inside as I eat it. Weird, huh?
47) I miss sandwiches from Millhollow SO much. That place was such a staple & second home to me for 2-3 years while I was in Idaho.
48) I take showers every other day. I'm not sure why I just told you that. I'm getting a little desperate here.
49) I'm excited to have more kids. (Most days, at least. You know what I mean if you live with a toddler.)
50) I'm pregnant!
(P.S. - Anj, I didn't mean to steal your thunder. Your recent post just inspired me - I'm so glad our kids will be close in age!)

I would love to hear one of your lessons in RS! That and have lunch at Olive Garden with you. Miss ya.
absolutely no thunder being stolen here. I'm so happy for you two (well, three). B is going to be such a great big brother.
PS. Milhollow WAS delicious! And didn't they have yummy frozen yogurt too?
YAY!! really? that is awesome! congrats! when are you due?
oh and we LOVE america's funniest home videos at our house...alan laughs so hard he cries, it's his favorite show. and no matter how many times i see friends, i still laugh so hard! loved reading your list!
Congratulations! What a way to tell people ;-)
Congrats! So, when's the due date?I LOVE slapstick humor too! It's so hard not to laugh at my kids when they walk into a wall or totally hurt themselves.
Wow. We have so much in common... like 80% of your list. Including sticking cheetos in my sandwiches. Try it with a tuna sandwich... it's way good.
Very sneaky, putting "I'm pregnant" at the very end. Yay for you guys! When are you due?
What a fun way to tell people! I didn't realize I was in the know so early! :)
why are you so funny!? :)
CONGRATS!!!! I am so happy for you. How far along etc??!! I actually have the olive garden recipe if you want it. A friend used to be a chef there. Reading is also my fav. In fact 4 hours flies by while peyton sleeps and I read. In fact we foudn out we save a couple hundred dollars a year if I go to the library instead of buying. We can't even fit my books in our TWO bookcases.
The German will do you some good someday. I promise.
Don't forget to order a straw with your alfredo saude - I know I always do!
I'M SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!! AND THAT'S WHY I'M YELLING!
To celebrate, I'll introduce Matt to Millhollow. Love you all so much! P.S. I was an English major for the same reason. If I had been thinking, I would have gone into Home Ec Education.
Whhhat! Congrats!!!!! : )
So exciting! I hate oompaloompas too. But more the boat scene "we don't know where we are going!" Gives me the creeps.
Way to sneak that in at the end :) I am seriously so excited for you! Two are fun! Let me know if you need anything!
Uh, yeah, you forgot #51: "My baby is due (insert date here)." Congrats! Pretty soon, you're going to have enough for a full rock band!
How funny - I was checking you blog just now to see if you were pregnant! Congratulations!! As for the rest - I regret the French I took as well, and shower every other day too.
Congratulations Chels!!! I learned alot about you but the best was 50!!!
That was fun! I love reading random facts about other people. Congratulations again on the bambino! I hope your back gets better one of these days just out of the blue -- back pain is really, really awful.
P.S. I don't like seafood either, but I like tuna fish. And the calamari at PF Changs. Yum.
