Everyone has their own egg, (hard-boiled) names & decorates it, and we roll them down ramps towards each other and see which one cracks. (One will always crack, one always won't.) We keep going until the winning egg has beat everyone else. Of course, I didn't remember to take pictures until near the end of the get-together.
The prize for the winning egg.
Some of the players. (I was Dan-Yul-Son,and our friend
Brandon was El Chupa Cabra. We were the final two
contenders. He ended up winning.)
Dave was Eggshell Skull Crusher.
This is how you start the game. You count to three...
And let them loose. (Those yellow boxes are law flash cards.
They are everywhere in our apartment.)
This is the only shot I got of the group. There were about ten
of us. Why is it you never think about taking pictures until
it is too late? (Oh yeah - that wall behind them needs some
decorating help. It doesn't look finished to me. Any helpful
hints would be appreciated. And I already know those pics are
different lengths away from the clock.) :)
B hanging out with his friend, Dallin.
B, Dallin & Charlie all wanted the ball. I think Dallin won -
he was the biggest. (Is "biggest" a word? I should
know this...)
These are pics I took today, while B & I were waiting for
Dad to get home. Whenever he gets tired, he lays down right
where he is.
Bentley's attempt to get up on the couch. He can't quite do it
yet, but he's so close. I was laughing at him; he was crying
out of frustration. You better believe I am not helping him
learn how to do that!
I've learned it is quite hard to get a good self photo of
yourself. This was the best one, and that's not saying much.
How is it that this kid is so cute & lovable, even after
he spent most of the day screaming at me? (He is getting
near the "independent stage." If that's even possible for
a 13-month old.)

You have to post that picture of you and B somewhere....like at the top of your blog or something. It's WAY cute. Oh, and in a week or so, he'll learn how to get on the couch. You know....drag a chair over, pile up some pillows or clothes, climb up your leg.... And THEN he'll be jumping off it! That's always fun....
I can so see your next kid being a boy and him and B getting into LOTS of things! BTW, shouldn't you be pregnant or close to by now? (wink) :o)
Love the Easter bash. I spent Easter in Idaho about two years ago and all I remember is that we were at Bec and Travis' house and Dave flipped you hair on top of your head and was pitting eggs in it to make it look like a nest. Do you remember that? Ah, fun times.
Looks like you had a great time! Bentley gets cuter every day!
I love the egg game - too much fun (maybe we'll have to steal it and not tell you since it's your tradition and not ours :))! I can't beleive how much of a kid Bentley looks like now (as opposed to a baby). And that picture of you is good - way better than anything I've got of myself and Cami so far.
Of course "biggest" is a word. Unless you want to say "biggerer". LOL
You're silly. I'm going to steal a version of your Easter game. We used to just play the everyone has an egg and taps them against the opposing eggs until there is an un-cracked winner. I like that you built ramps and named the contenders. Haha.
if you make it annual we will certainly come! thanks for a great partaaay!!! We need to reclaim our dignity. We will have to figure out how to hard boil eggs before next year :)
