is insanely hot. I think we are on the 38th day of triple digit heat with no relief in sight. The only thing we can do outside is swim, which was great...back in May. Now it's not much of a novelty for the kids anymore. I'm pretty sure B would give anything just to jump on the tramp for longer than 10 minutes. I feel like we live in AZ, only people have grass here. (Although just barely now. Everyone has pretty much given up on their yards around here.) All right, done complaining.
A few weeks ago, I got to hang out with some of my best friends/old roommates from college. Two of us live in TX, and Jenna just happened to be here for the summer. We met her in Waco for a day, and we got to hang out and let all the kiddos swim.
Ahh, this makes me think of the good old Millhollow days. Good times.
All of the kids, humoring us for a picture. Poor Dean (second from the left) had just thrown up a few hours before. It was good to see everyone, but about 4 or 5 of us were sick. All with different ailments, too! It was still great to see them again.
Blake in her summer uniform. It's kind of hard to decide when to shower when you are at the pool everyday. (I'm kind of embarrassed I just admitted that, but it's true.)
Dani and I have been waiting for the day when these two girls would like playing together, and the day has come. Blake and Bridgette just chilling with their My Little Ponies.
This little boy is getting so old now - every day he blows me away. I love him so much - he's such a good kid.
Blake decided she didn't want to do a nap today. Lucky me. Nice hair, right? Oh, and Dave took off one side of her crib so now it's a daybed. And she falls out of it at least twice a night - I'm hoping she gets the hang of it soon. (On the left side of the pic are two kitchen chairs I've put up temporarily. It works for now.) Poor girl.

Awww....That pick of you Steph and Jenna is GREAT! How fun! Call me...we need to catch up! Its been forever I feel like!
