I'm in the mood to post for some reason, but don't have anything really exciting to post about. I'll just let everything out that's been running through my mind:
-The weather here has been crazy nice. Yesterday it was around 77 degrees, and today it's supposed to be a few degrees warmer. It is January, right? Just checking.
-I finally broke down and went shopping for the baby girl. I was trying to see how long I could stay away from Target. Turns out I could only do it for three days. Once I got to the girl clothing area, I didn't even know where to begin. It was a whole new world for me. Then I got used to it - just ask my husband. (I promise, babe - no more clothes for her until she gets here. From me, at least. :) )
-With all this nice weather, I'm trying to stay more active. Especially with this second pregnancy. I took a break from exercising when I was pregnant with B from about month 6 and on - hence the 35-40 lb weight gain. I don't know about anyone else, but with my first pregnancy I felt a little more fragile. Not this time!
-I am trying desperately to stay committed to Tuesday night volleyball at the church - dang you, American Idol! How do you suck me in so?
-This is a little embarrassing, but I am even more addicted to The Bachelor. Sad, I know, but it has some kind of cheap appeal to me. I think I like it because it makes me appreciate the fact that I am already married. But it is fun to watch girls answer questions like, "So tell me about yourself - what do you like?" and they say "I like bears. All kinds." Really? You can't think of anything better than bears? It's like cocaine, I tell you.
-I have been discovering the depths of my sewing abilities, (which, by the way, are still pretty shallow) and have been making burp cloths and hooded towels for the dozens of girls I know who are expecting. (Maybe it's in the water here or something...) I would take pictures, but I forget until I give the items away.
-This post would seem complete without a cute B-ism. The other morning he walks into my bedroom after he woke up, (I think it was 7:45 or something) and says "I go see Jack and Ellie." "Oh, really?" I ask. "Yeah" he says, "I go get my shoes." Oh yeah, and the other morning I was flipping through TV channels and we see people riding horses. He looks at me and says, "I love horses." A kid after my own heart.
-One last thing - why must our neighbors blast their Mexican music in their cars right across the way RIGHT at nap time? I really would like to go tell them my mind, but I won't. Now I have to go because my child just woke up from his 40 minute nap.

The neighbors are friends of Rosa in the office. I thought about calling her to say, what's up with all the loud music? I think I will, now. We couldn't hear it inside, though. Sorry I didn't have your back on that one.
That was a great post- no worries about the no pic thing. I love hearing reality stories from those of us honest enough to fess up to or "realities." I'm sure I'd be just like you with the girl clothing. Congrats again!
Oh the Bachelor. We had a huge girls night and watched the first episode. Holy crazy women!!!! Can we please just talk about Megan, Natalie, and Shannon. I really thought I would like Shannon. Don't even start me on interrupted naps. So annoying!
Ha ha -- did you go to Target after the playground yesterday? By the way, we missed you today. I hope your car gets better soon.
