We had Thanksgiving with a few of our good friends here. It was lots of fun, and the kids had fun playing together. The real party started after we put them to bed and pulled out Balderdash. I think that games gets funnier the later it gets because by 11pm we were all laughing pretty hard. I don't think any of us had stayed up that late in a long time. I just feel bad for our friend Derrick who had to work at 5:30am the next morning. He was still a trooper and hung in until the game ended.
Here is B borrowing his cousin Ellen's tricycle while they were at Grandma & Grandpa's in Waco. Sorry about the naked thing, guys - he had just got out of the bathtub, if that helps at all!
He loves this tricycle. Dave & I are trying to figure out what kind to get him for X-mas.

Yay. My son is not the only one who had a naked phase. :o) (Still does, sometimes.)
We have been through many disappointing tricycles. It depends on what you want him (or you) to get from it. If you want him to learn to pedal at a younger age than get him one with the pedals closer to the seat (or an adjustable seat). A long reach makes it tougher to learn. Dean learned early because we accidentally had a good one for that. If you want to use it for walks, look for something like the kettrike with a parent push-and-steer handle so you can drive while he just rides and pretends to pedals along. :o)
that picture is AWESOME!! classic. ha ha! i love it!
Those pictures are sooo funny. I was definately laughing about it. I wonder if I would want someone riding my bike naked?? haha.
Ok, thats not something I wonder about. lol.
However, I did enjoy your post.
I love the naked bum. We have that red tricycle and I bought for $5 at a garage sale. Doug ran it over about 18 months ago, and the wheel is totally dented and squirly. The kids still ride it and love it! Works like a champ and is the best $5 I ever spent.
Chelsea, you son is super cute. He and Jaxon would get along great with the no clothes wearing and bum jumping. =)
That's awesome! What a sweetheart. We have two tricycles. One, our friends gave us and it's one of those old red and white ones with the bell. It's awesome. Maybe we need to send you guys one!
Nice..
Love it!! He's really going to love those when he's about 15!! LOL
