I have wondered why people put their blogs on private. It used to annoy me - having to take the extra step of signing in to see their blog. I am starting to understand why they do this.
I have not even talked to Dave about this, but I've decided I want to go private as well.
I am fine with family and friends looking at this site. I'm not so sure about some other people.
So, if you want to keep enjoying our blog send me your e-mail. I will probably do it in a week or so. Sorry to disappoint anyone!

Things I have to put in print or I will forget:
(2/10/2011) B, running out of the play room: "Mom, my car just flew through the tunnel off the ramp!!"
Me: "Cool, buddy!"
Running back to his room, paused and looked back and said in a serious voice: "It's because it has magic in it."
(11/11/2010) Bentley was watching me pick up toys in our backyard after a downpour so they could dry, shouted at me through the window: "Mom! Thanks for being such a great helper!!"
I was looking at some really cute outfits my sister bought for Blake.
B: "Did Jody get those outfits for Blake?"
Me: "Yeah, she did!"
B: "Oh. That was nice of her!"
B, noticing a cut I had on my toe: "Mom, how did you hurt your toe?"
Me: "On one of your toys, remember?"
B: "Oh, one of my freaking toys?"
Me, laughing: "Yeah, that's probably what I said at the time!"
(After finding B, who we thought was asleep for the night, on his bed with ALL the blankets he owns on it, with his diaper off, sitting next to a puddle of pee on the mattress:)
Me: "I'm not happy with you."
B: "I'm not happy with me, either."
(A conversation between B and his Nana while we were in Dallas. Not sure what they were debating over, but it is still funny.)
My mom: "Yes, it is."
B: "No, it's not."
My mom: "Yes, Bentley, it is."
B: "No it's not, you little liar!!"
Note to self: Don't call your son a little liar, even in jest.

I think private is a good idea. It weirds me out that people all over the world can see your family etc. I have a family member who is having a hard time accepting the invitation so mine is open right now. I put up a little tracker thingy just so I at least can keep an eye on things. I'd love to stay in touch though. cadeandcarrian@gmail.com
Welcome to the Private Blog Club! Sorry it bugged you in the past--I've had mixed feelings about going either way, but I mostly want to keep ours private for when we have kids and start posting their pictures up there for faraway family. Looking forward to keeping up with your adventures!

I've thought about it too, but I'm still meeting too many friends who I didn't know have blogs, so I'm good with keeping it public for a while....
I haven't heard of anything weird happening, either. I don't worry about mine as long as I don't post my address or anything sensitive on there. I understand if you want to go private, though.

Hey, So I almost did this but did what has turned out for me to be a better alternative instead. A woman came to my house to buy something off craigslist and told me she googled me and found my blog and went on and on about my family and kids - um...CREEPY! That night I made my site unavailable through google or name searches so the only people that can find are the ones who already know my other blog buddies. :o)
