A backyard. Nothing fancy, (although a fire pit like the one in the picture would be a plus) just a fenced in backyard where I could set the kid loose sometimes. Particularly while I'm making dinner. Or lunch. Or want to read a book. Or when I just want to give him a yogurt and a spoon and not have to worry about cleaning up the kitchen later. Or just when we need a break from each other.
I'm realistic enough to know that I won't be getting one of these for another two years, at least.
But I can dream about them.
(Doesn't that grass look so soft? It makes me want to lay a blanket down and take a nap.)

i know-a fire pit in the backyard would be fun. is it because i LOVE roasted marshmellows..probably!! Any how, i know what you mean by "someday." I think that is the story of all of our law school lives right now. :)
Oh I am right there with you...a yard! With grass! and a fence! What luxuries these would be! And yes, it will be AT LEAST 2 years until we will have one too....sigh.... But maybe waiting so long will make us better appreciate it when we have to mow the lawn and take care of the yard!
