This can't be good

This is what I found my son doing yesterday. Actually, this picture doesn't do it justice because a minute before he was on his knees, grabbing everything he could grab at that level. Pulling himself to his knees is olds news now, because now he prefers to pull up to his feet. I'm not sure I like this stage, because although the process to get up is smooth, the process on the way down is always rough, and usually involves him hitting his face/head on something. I've been procrastinating the whole baby-proofing thing, but now I have no other choice. Well, I guess I do, but that would involve watching Bentley destroy all our valuable things. Did I say valuable? I meant the things we LIKE better than other things. We all know we don't own anything valuable...someday, maybe. We can't help loving this stage of being poor while in school. I guess it's a means to an end.
(You like how everything my son was wearing matches in no way, whatsoever? I just didn't care that day. That, and I didn't know I would be posting it on this blog.)
Oh, and Jody, I put a song on our play list just for you. "Pictures of You" because I remember you said once that it was one of your favorites. Or something. I'm just trying to watch out for your best interests. :) The play list is bound to grow on you...

Uh oh - You're in trouble now. I thought I told you to push him down everytime he tried to crawl. Hey, I tried to warn ya. Now you'll have to mount those shelves to the wall and, trust me; DON'T procrastinate! Deano pulled his dresser over on himself and we are lucky that it only gave him a bruise under his eye and not a cracked skull or broken leg. It's never too soon! :o)
