I promise I did not put Bonsai there after B fell asleep. That is just how he falls asleep most of the time - he always has to be touching Bonsai somehow.

Bonsai
Bentley's favorite toy is Bonsai.(A stuffed monkey my mom gave him when he was born.) He is always playing with him in his crib. The other day I put him in his crib for a nap, and he was crying for a little bit but then stopped a few minutes later. I came in and found him like this:

I promise I did not put Bonsai there after B fell asleep. That is just how he falls asleep most of the time - he always has to be touching Bonsai somehow.

You know Mom's gonna want that blown up to frame somewhere. That is the cutest....you're POSITIVE you didn't position him that way? Oh, I never did that "let them cry themselves to sleep" thing. I'm a "rock them to sleep" mom! And after a while, they didn't like it so I had to just lay them down awake....all my kids did that and that's how they learned to put themselves to sleep. You'll have to let me know how your method works......
I totally did the cry-it-out method with Dean but he only cried the first 2 or 3 nights and now just knows to go right to sleep. I'm a wuss and wanted to rescue him, but thank goodness Dev talked me out of it because it really did work. (By the way, we did have a cut-off time for the crying. Anything more than 20 minutes and I was allowed to rescue. Luckily, he never made it that long.)
That picture is ADORABLE! (And his monkey matches the bumper...kinda.)
Oh, sooo cute...It's truly "picture perfect".
