This blogging thing has been really hard for me lately! I'm not even that busy because it feels like we are finally settled into our rental house...only to be moving again next month! We found a house about two weeks ago and we will be closing right before Thanksgiving. (Perfect timing, right? Good thing we are not hosting Thanksgiving at our place.) I'm not too worried about packing everything up (again) and moving so soon. We haven't hung any pictures or decorated, so it won't be too big of a task. Plus, our new house is only about a 6 or 7 minute drive from the place we are already in. We are super excited - it's in a cute new neighborhood where a lot of people in our ward live, there is an elementary school a few blocks away, and it is the perfect size for us. Come visit us any time - we will have a room for you!
Living in an actual neighborhood has been great - I have been running every morning because I no longer have to drive to a park and THEN run. Believe it or not, (because it still surprises me) I ran 2.5 miles this morning all before the kids even woke up! It was amazing. And I ran the whole time. I am addicted. I am going to see if I can run close to 3 tomorrow. Then maybe I'll run in one of those fancy 5ks...

The (extended) fam breaking the new trampoline in. B jumps on it every day. It is heaven for him. And me.

Blake woke up with peacock hair one morning. I couldn't resist taking a picture of it. (And yes, she was wearing one of her brother's shirts. It was laundry day.)

Modeling her new nightgown. (Thank you, Once Upon a Child. I love you.) It continually amazes me at how feminine she is. Or is this just something all moms say when they've had only boys until now?

I don't know if it is because of her red hair, but she is a feisty one. Can you tell?

This boy is obsessed with all things having to do with volcanoes right now. (Oh, and sharks. Wait till you see his Halloween costume. It's awesome.) So I, being the creative mom that I am, made him a volcano. He picked the colors, obviously.

Blake got into B's drawers and started pulling out his underwear, which her dad promptly put on her. Which just kept her going back to get more. Where do they get these things?

Can you believe this little bum is going to be in nursery at Thanksgiving time? I just recently realized that her and B will be in nursery for a month together before he moves into primary. I'm really glad - I think it will help her get eased into nursery better. Not that I think she will have a problem anyway. All she wants to do at church is gaze longingly through the nursery window at all the toys.

I am so jealous of you right now. A house, new job, neighborhood, trampoline, AND you ran 2 1/2 miles?!? So jealous.

Congrats on your house! And way to go on the running. I like to tell myself that maybe I'd do better at it if I was near a running area...but I probably wouldn't. Trampolines are a good idea - maybe we should invest in one of those. Bunk beds are a good idea too, in case the trampoline runs out on you. That has been gold!
