I have a love/hate relationship with summer. I hate how hot it can be, but I love how much it tires my kids out. There are many other things but I'm not in the mood to write them all down. It has been SO hot here for the past three weeks - between 95 to 103 degrees EVERY DAY - but this week it has been blessedly cool. With some awesome rain/thunder/lightning storms. I am in heaven.
Hanging out with friends. Blake comes running (well, as much as she can without bending her knees. Hilarious to watch, btw) whenever she sees the dishwasher open.
Swim lessons. (And gymnastics...and soccer...it's so nice to have an outlet for his all his energy. It has been GREAT for him.)

It looks like y'all are having a ton of fun. Wish we could be there doing it with you. Our summer seems like business as usual. We need to get out more.
