I just realized I haven't posted in a month. Usually I try to post more often than that, but RSV attacked both of our kids. Luckily it was a pretty mild case - no vomiting or high fevers - but it took about two weeks to run its course. And right at the very peak of it, my mom came to visit! Luckily she didn't get (very) sick, but that's just the risk you take at coming to visit children at the peak of cold & flu season. Fortunately, we were still able to do a lot of things even with the kids being a little grumpy.
We wanted to see if she could sit on the vacuum, (for some odd reason, I'm realizing now) and it turns out she could! The other day I left the room with Blake laying on the ground and when I can back she was sitting up. It was a big shock and made me a little sad because her immobile days are coming to an end. I really enjoyed them this time around.

The strangley cute face she has been making lately.

B turned 3 this past Friday. We were planning on throwing him a little party at our house and inviting some of his friends, but then I decided it wouldn't be very thoughtful to spread RSV around, especially to the kids who have 1-2 month old siblings at home. So his Nana spoiled him and pretty much bought all his presents.
One of his favorites was the play-dough with all the tools. It will keep him quiet for an hour or two - amazing.
He is slowly starting to look at the camera and smile instead of crying and turning his face away. The only downside to that is that he gives us all these cheesey grins.

Your kids are so cute. I'm sorry you guys got sick, that is definitely not any fun. And your mom too! Yeesh. Is your sister still coming to visit? Have I already missed that?
Those two look so much alike! Such pretty eyes. Glad everyone is feeling better!
