Back to the kid.

I was starting to realize a lot of my posts have been about my own amusements, and began wondering if anyone was missing the latest pictures of Bentley. Then I was talking to my friend, Brye, and she confirmed my thoughts by saying she wanted to see the latest pictures of him. So, these next pictures are for all those friends and family who don't live near us in Texas. In my defense, nothing really exciting has been going on. Thus, the lack of pictures. (And for my friends in town who see B weekly, I apoligize.) :)
(I have to warn you, these pics are not too exciting. To me, at least. I mean, I see him everyday!)

Bentley breaking free from the apartment.

Pausing for mom to take a picture of his new shorts. (By the way, I just found out how different baby shorts are from baby pants. These looked TINY to me when I held them up at the store. But they fit him perfect. Crazy.)

Finding the closest patch of dirt...

And sitting down in it.

This boy's life right now revolves around dirt, rocks, and sticks. Easily entertained. And so very, very much a boy. (Notice the rock in his hands. At least, let's HOPE it's a rock.) Our neighbors smoke, (not inside, which is very nice of them) and Bentley can find all of their cigarette butts & cigar pieces.

Bentley playing with a stick. (See, what did I tell you?) Notice our dry, scratchy, pokey Texas grass? For all of those who have nice soft grass, be thankful for it. This is our apt., by the way. And things are starting to get green around here, finally.

Bentley decided he was done dressing after I had only put his pants on. Then he went and posed on the pillow for me. He LOVES pillows and blankets - I figured out the way to get him to fall asleep on his own was to put a pillow in his crib. He puts his head on it and crashes. I don't know why I didn't think of it before.

Playing with one of his favorite toys, the vaccum attachment. Lately, he's taken to hitting balls with these attachments, much like golf. I have no idea where he learned it from.

Trying to get the ball that went behind the dryer with the attachment...

Giving up on that and trying to fish it out with his hand.

Laughing at dad...

And trying to imatate his dance moves. (I don't know what kind of dancing involves your arms straight out in front of you, but whatever.) :)

I totally agree about the shorts. Dean is pretty true-to-age in regard to pants (mostly because he is tall because the waist is always huge). When it comes to shorts he and Eli share a few 3-6months pairs. Either Dean is too skinny or Eli is too fat because something is wrong with that. Actually, it's both. Haha

Can't wait to see you guys!

I still can't believe how photogenic your kid is. It's not fair. The one with him on the pillow is another one you should blow up and frame. Cute kid.

We Waco Jackson Live to see pics of Bentley. If you don't post Matthew will feel like a guy without a pillow.
Our Wednesday nights are just not right without "B".

Love you all.
