A whole bunch of blogs in one

We've been (kind of) busy lately, but I took pictures to prove it. We went to Denver for Memorial Day weekend to visit some friends, and it was Bentley's first road trip. Actually, it was his first trip ever. He did pretty good in the car.

This was at a gas stop, letting him out of his car seat for a few minutes.

Here he cooing at us, and, (we assume) trying to wink.

This is in Denver, at our friends ward. It's our first nice looking family picture.

This one is for you mom. :) Bentley got a lot of comments on this outfit. Our friends think purple is his color. His pants look a little Huck-Finnish, but they really are long on him.

Dave's first day of school was the day after we got back from Denver. This is Bentley supporting his dad by sporting a Texas Tech shirt. It says, "Texan by birth. Red Raider by choice." Nice, huh?

This picture, I think, is great. He is at the point where he is trying to sit up, but doesn't quite have it yet. He will pull his head forward and attempt to use his abs to get up, but he's not that strong yet. Almost. He was really fussy, but he took time to try and attempt a smile, despite being grumpy.
Check out those eyes. He inherited Dave's eyes, that's for sure.

Our friends let us borrow their baby saucer, because their kids are too big for it. Bentley's feet barely touch the ground, but he likes being in it. He can only last about ten minutes in it, then his neck gets tired. I think he likes it because he gets to be upright and use his legs instead of laying around all day. (literally) We just got our Bumbo in the mail today. For those who don't know what it is, I will post a new blog with pictures as soon as Bentley gets some good sitting time in it.

Ps. If you come visit us we will let you come to our ward too. Or we could just skip it and go geocaching.
